Emily: Homecoming Act 2



This was sort of (un)intentionally meant for the mini-comp but I have a few doubts regarding the recent comments on this site and the future of the AIF scene after my recent two threads, so I'm releasing it now instead.

Anyway, this is act two of the three acts of Emily:Homecoming (sequel to Emily: Sister Attraction) that I'm working on. It's meant to feel like a mini-comp game. Hope you enjoy it!

This was made in collaboration with BBBen, and I'd like to really thank him for his contribution. And to be honest, this should be what it's all about; people working together, whether it is in making games, creating websites, or forums or anything else. I sincerely hope we can revitalize the scene, because it's in desperate need of it.

    Too easy! But seeing Emily gave me goosebumps (got all 3 points on my second run)!! Can't wait for more. And thank you BBBen for your contribution!

    Well, balancing hard with easy is something all of us AIF authors struggle with A LOT. It's actually a very hard compromise; some find it easy, others hard - as I'm sure the comment will reflect. Hope I didn't fail miserably at least, and let me know if I can do something better!

    Wow... The images, the character(s), the story (even though it's short and I get it's a mini comp game): Just wow. How am I supposed to live through waiting for the full game now? Especially with that ending?

    Absolutely loved the first Emily game and can't wait for the full sequel. This act serves as a perfect interlude from the main portion of the game (which I assume is focused on Victoria and Emily.) Really well put together and would have made for an excellent mini comp game. Probably the best in years.

    I am playing through the first game before starting this one. I am stuck after the shower part. Can anyone help or know where a guide is?

      Yes. Mac can play .blorb files through the ADRIFT Mac runner, but you do have to have Mono for Mac installed. Hope it works out!

    Can we please have the full game now? You teased us with the two demos of Act 1, gave us one hell of a complete minicomp Act 2, and we know what's in store for us in Act 3: Emily and Victoria meet at the homecoming party. So pretty please, with sugar on top, finish this game.

    Minor bug (not sure if this is best place): If you put the camcorder (or maybe anything) in the seat it will give you about 10 errors.
