Hi everyone,
After several years and long after when I thought I would finish it, my latest game is finally ready for release. I hope you enjoy it.

Mystic Rhythms
The game is built using Adrift 5.0 text engine and includes multimedia images.
The story:
In this game, you take the role of a normal and successful guy married to a gorgeous Russian woman. You met her online and following a quick long distance courtship, you paid for her trip out of Russia and the fancy engagement ceremony that followed. Since then life has been good and you've been the envy of many.
Recently your wife has been nagging you about spending some time together away from home. Unable to say no, you quickly found yourself standing in the lobby of this cozy hotel retreat for a lover’s weekend.

I'm blocked at the beginning, after taking pass through i cannot exit the room
ReplyDeleteAfter learning how to "pass through" objects and wall, all you need to do is use the standard navigation commands (n, s, e, w, up and down).
DeleteI'm really enjoying this. It seems to have the depth and replayability of Ice's excellent debut a few years back.
ReplyDeleteOn the technical side, it could use a broader range of synonyms to save guess-the-noun hassle.
But other than that, top effort!

I've a somewhat unrelated question:
ReplyDeleteIs there an advantage to using Mega and Mediafire? In my experience they host files, but will slow downloads if you don't subscribe or buy an account? Is the advantage large file hosting for testing?
They are easy filehosting sites that provide long-term hosting without having to worry about accounts. It would be possible to use Dropbox or OneDrive, but those require accounts, and can be irritating to use, and are not available everywhere. Also, if the author decides that they want to delete their accounts, they can leave the games/files so people can get to them without having to leave blogspot/Patreon/web host sites alive.
DeleteMega/Mediafire are less likely than other sites to change their policies about adult content too. Sites like Tumblr already have, Patreon has toyed with removing adult content, and there is always the chance that companies like Dropbox and Microsoft might decide that policing content would help their public image.
